Gibson ES-335 (dot inlay)

The ES-335 not only bridged solid and hollow designs, it bridged musical genres from blues to rock to jazz.

Eric Clapton and Alvin Lee (of Ten Years After) were among the influencial cokers of the 60’s who played a 335. In jazz, Larry Carlton was so closely identified with the model that he became known as “Mr. 335”. And iconic artists Chuck Berry and B.B. King are well known for playing fancier versions of the ES-335.
