Canadian designer and musician Robert Godin has been the driving force behind a number of successful and innovative acoustic brands, such as Art & Lutherie, and Norman. However, it is the product line bearing it’s own name, established in 1987, that features his most cutting-edge instruments, electrics and electroc-acoustics.

These instruments combine traditional craftsmanship and high technology in ingenious ways. Godin’s Multiac series includes both nylon- and steel-strung models. This Multiac is a steel duet and has a mahogany body with two acoustic chambers, but is intended to be heard through an amplifier or a PA system. It also has two blendable transducers, hence the “Duet”.
