Godin xtSA

The Godin xtSA offers players three separate “voices” which can be deployed seaprately or combines.

It’s “standard” electric guitar tones are produced via three magnetic pickups: a single single-coil unit, and two humbuckers at the neck and bridge positions. For realistic “acoustic guitar” sounds, the xtSA has transducers imbedded in each of it’s bridge saddles. The xtSA’s third output is a “hexaphonic” one, via which signals from each of the guitar’s six strings can be used to trigger a synthesizer and create an almost unlimited range of sounds.

The xtSA’s body is made from silver leaf maple and poplar with a mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard.
