B.C. Rich Virgo
High demand for the B.C. models in the late 70’s to 80’s meant that the company had to outsource manufacturing to oversea partners.
In 1983, the first full line of Japanese-made Riches, named the “N.J. Series” made its debut. The initials stand for “Nagoya, Japan” and among these unique versions available from overseas markets was the Rich “Virgin”, which remains in the company catalog to this day.
The model you see here is a more recent take on the classic design. The “Virgo’s” distinctive shape is said to look like a mid-80’s “Rich Virgin” with a bite out of it’s bottom.
