Martin HD-35SJC Judy Collins
Judy Collins made her name in the late 1960s as an unrivaled interpreter of classic songs such as Joni Mitchell’s “Chelsea Morning” and “Both Sides Now”. She has remained perennially popular as a singer, actress and author, and in 2002, Martin saluted her achievements, and her long-standing use of it’s instruments in the studio and onstage, with the release of two “signature edition” Judy Collins guitars.
These were a 6-string model (as featured) and a 12-string. They are D-35 type models with Sitka spruce tops and Collins’ “trademark” wildflower inlaid on their headstocks. Her Wildflower album of 1967 launched her songwriting career.
Proceeds from the limited edition went to the United Nations Children’s Fund.
