Martin Little Martin LX1E

The Little Martin was introduced in 2003.

It is a robust, compact, “go-anywhere” flat-top acoustic, which is equally suitable for adults and children. Unlike some instruments of a similar size (it has a 23-inch scale length), it is designed to be played at a standard pitch.

Several alternative types of the Little Martin guitar are available. Some, including the original LXM and LXME versions, have bodies made entirely from high pressure laminates, but the LX1E has a solid Sitka spruce top, with back and sides of “mahogany pattern” HPL. It is fitted with a Fishman-designed “Mini Q” under-saddle transducer system that delivers impressive “plugged-in” results when recording or playing through an amplifier.
