Epiphone Granada

In 1957, Gibson’s owners decided to purchase Epiphone at the bargain price of $20,000, which led to relocation to Gibson’s headquarters in Michigan.

This led to an increasing number of Epiphones becoming cheaper, slightly modified versions of existing Gibson designs.

Launched in 1962, this model bears a striking resemblance to Gibson’s thinline body ES-120T. Epiphone’s distinctive company logo is based on the Greek letter epsilion.
