This model was launched in 2004 and was inspired by Joe Perry’s endorsement of the Gibson Signature Model.

It shares the “Aged Tiger” finish of the original. This finish was created by Perry’s wife Billie, first seen on a Gibson Custom Shop axe she gave him as a birthday gift.

It’s pickups, like those on the Signature Les Paul, are USA-made Burstbuster II and IIIs.
