The original Stratocaster sold for around $250 at the time of it’s release in the 50s, but original models are now worth very large sums of money.

Many aspire instead to deliberately aged “Relic” models produced by the Fender Custom Shop in 1995. This particular one is a replica of Mary Kaye’s 1956 “custom-color” Strat, complete with gold fittings.
