This “Spyder” bass Alembic model was produced as a tribute to Entwistle with his famous song, “Boris the spider”, being the inspiration for the name.

The Alembic logo, designed by Bob Thomas in 1969 and featured on the headstock, incorporates a number of astrological and mystic symbols.
