Alembic Orion Baritone

For players accompanying deep-voiced singers, or seeking an alternative timbre to that of a conventional instrument, a “baritone” guitar, which is usually tuned a perfect fourth or fifth lower than its standard counterpart, can be a good choice.
Alembic’s Orion model is considered one of the finest “baritone” guitars on the market. It’s shape is broadly similar to that of Alembic’s EADGBE-tuned and brass Orions. Like its higher-pitched 6-string sister, it has a mahogany body, which is then given a top made from a choice of exotic woods like coco bolo. At 28 inches the Orion’s scale is 21/2 inches longer than a standard guitar’s.
