Aria ADSG 12T

This Diamond-brand 12-string from 1968 marked the end of an era for the Japanese-based Aria company.
It took Fender’s Jazzmaster body and gave it a sleeker look with more pointed horns and a more elongated shape. The pickups, pickguard, knobs and three-tone sunburst finish also had a Fenderish look, while the “tiger stripe” wood grain of the top evoked memories of Gibson’s sunburst Les Paul Standards of 1958-60 and the pearl dot fingerboard inlays inspired by Gretsch’s edge-hugging “thumbprint” inlays.
