Epiphone Dot Studio

The Epiphone DOT, launched in 1996, was closely based on the classic Gibson ES-335 “semi-hollow” electric.

The Dot Studio, while retaining the shape and basic attributes of it’s predecessor, is simpler and more streamlined. It’s two pickups have no individual volume and tone controls, and the traditional 335-style pickguard and fretboard position markers (the “dots” for which the model was named) have vanished, while the sunburst, cherry, and natural finishes provided for the older DOT have been replaced with a choice of striking new colors.

This model has Alnico-V humbucker pickups.
