Fender Precision Bass ‘Sting’

This model is a Mexican-made Precision bass that British bassist, singer, and songwriter Sting (Gordon Sumner) used only once, on a BBC radio broadcast in 1994.

After the show, Sting signed the guitar’s body, and the bass was then offered as a prize in a listener’s competition.

The Precision came packed in it’s own stout flight case.
