G&L F 100

G&L established itself in Fullerton, California, where the orginal Fender Electric Instrument Company had been based. The company’s first product was the F-100 solid-body.
It came in slightly different forms, such as the Series 1 F-100E (which this particular one is) which had a larger fingerboard radius (12-inch) than Series II models. The “E” suffix denotes active electronics, powered by an onboard battery.
The Series was produced until 1985.
