PRS Mark Tremonti Tribal

The PRS Mark Tremonti model of 2001 was successful enough for PRS and Tremonti to create a limited-edition model in 2004.

The Mark Tremonti Tribal featured a large graphic design on the top of the guitar, along with a condensed version on the peghead. Although it had the general look of a ceremonial mask from a primitive culture, the specific inspiration was never noted.

The basic specs of the Tribal were the same as Tremonti’s regular model, built on a slightly-thicker-than-standard Singlecut body.

The PRS Custom Shop was around halfway through the announced limited run of 100 Tribals when production was suspended due to a lawsuit over the Singlecut design.
More were made in 2006.
